As a Producer

I lead projects from initial briefing to launch day and beyond, with direct responsibility for day-to-day management process and workflow. I’m passionate about guiding and empowering developers, facilitating things so that they can ship their best work. I love the idea of using the available technologies to create better experiences, using a scientific-mindset approach to solve practical problems.

I’ve overseen digital experiences and games for different platforms (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality,  mobile, and PC), as well as internal digital solutions for IKEA Digital. My experience has taught me to favour outcomes-based product planning, where I take a user/player-centric approach, adapting and creating continuously improving plans to ensure that the team can maintain their agility and move towards a common goal. I’ve learned that one of the best skill to practice as a producer is to empathetically listen, ask the right questions, and be able to change my mind in the face of evidence.

As a Game Developer and Researcher

I discovered that the incredibly challenging and complex process of crafting games involves a lot of research and synthesis, it is a transformative practice where game developers evolve and refine their knowledge. Games are an incredibly rich medium that bond art and science. Conceiving and realizing games entails having or gaining insight into a broad range of topics - logical  analysis, psychology, social science, a sense of aesthetic composition, writing skills, history, etc. My interest in game development and the application of technological solutions  has always  been an evolving process that requires to proactively keep knowledge and competencies varied and up-to-date, have good communication skills, teamwork, and keep up with changes in technologies and industry trends.

Above all, I consider myself a technologist,  with  a fierce passion for learning and a resolute will for self-improvement. I am curious by nature and always eager to explore new ways of doing things. This wide-ranging skill-set, I believe, is  ideal for connecting people, technology, and business opportunities.

Project Management Philosophy

I am concerned with the success of the project and the team, not with the use of a particular workflow to get there. I work with stakeholders to design a process that makes sense for the organization and supports its goals. Constantly checking in to see how it’s performing.

I don’t base my approach on tools and systems but around people and their environment. Acting as much as possible as “the invisible force that makes things run smoothly”.

I’m invested in promoting communication among team members, minimizing bottlenecks, enhancing initiative, participation, and responsibility taken by the team.

I believe that having a viable, compelling, clear, and well-communicated shared vision is one of the most important factors for a positive project outcome.
